A typical school morning at the Jones’ house: the kids are eating breakfast, I’m fixing lunches, Bryan notices Will’s wild hair and begins spraying it. We keep a bottle filled with water for just that purpose.
Elizabeth says: “Dad, why are you spraying Will’s hair with Windex?”
Good question.
Like I said – typical. Except for a little extra shine on top…

love it.
you have told me that you use windex for everything!
it worked in my big fat greek wedding!
In taking my children to school I’ve accidentally grabbed their lunches with nothing in them, the wrong backpack, different socks, and once their shirt on inside-out. I’m not a morning (before 8am) person. :)
and if you’re like me, you usually don’t even notice the wrongness – because you’re shouting COME ON, WE’RE GONNA BE LATE – until you pick them up from school…and think, how did they get out of the house looking like that…
This morning my wife “fixed” my daughters hair. I told her, “Wait, you like her hair to be all pretty in the morning?” She responded, “Yes, Brian… She is a girl.”
Oh.
Now I know.
remember when chipper sang at the capitol with his pants on backwards? that was just 2 years ago…i was proud. of both of us.
i LOVE that its not only my family doing this stuff. i wore my slippers halfway to work last week.
