postscript

This note was lying on the end of my kitchen counter:

Apparently Will had irritated his older sister while her friends were over.  Not hard to do when you are a 7 year old boy and and 11 year old girl, respectively.  At this point, I couldn’t be prouder – look at that boy writing a note to make amends!  Asking for forgiveness! As you can see, his sister did sign the note, thereby granting the forgiveness requested. [sigh]

And then, because she is in middle school, she felt that she needed to add just one more thing:

Because apparently that nickname is reserved only for her friends.  And people who really want to irritate me.

Not to be outdone, little brother adds a PS of his own…
