radio silence

So, we’re in Colorado.  I know that you know this by now. seeing as how you saw the snacks, and probably this, too, but I’ve just had a lingering sense of guilt since Sunday afternoon.  I meant to tell you that we found out there is no wifi where we are staying, and that I would see you next week.  That I hadn’t just given up on this, but I couldn’t figure out how to do it this week…

But, in true Jones style, we were packing right up until (and a little past, even) the last minute.  So no “see you later.”  And as for the Lent thing, maybe we’ll make up for in next week.  I don’t think I’m committing to anything yet.

I have to say though, it has been simultaneously annoying and strangely peaceful to be so unplugged as to not even have consistent phone service.  To only be able to deal with what really is right there in front of me.

So – I hope you’ve had a great week so far.  We have – lots of snowy, cold fun.  We will be ready for the technicolor of spring when we return…see you then!
